Thankful for more than you’d ever imagine:
Around this time of year everyone always reflects on what they are thankful for. Thinking back to when you first started Jiu-Jitsu, what made you start? What was your driving factor that made you decide “yeah this is for me”?
I bet when you think of your initial reason, that a plethora of new ones pop into your head as well. We all start this journey for very one dimensional reasons for the most part: fitness, self-defense, just wanted to do something new, etc. But once you immerse yourself into the culture, you realize there is so much more you get out of training. You obtain a family, a support system, confidence, discipline, happiness and much more.
As you count your blessings this holiday season, really think what Jiu-Jitsu has done for you and why you continue to come on the mat every class.
We’re thankful that you started with us, but even happier that you’ve found reasons to keep Jiu-Jitsu a part of your life.
– See you on the Mats
