In honor of October being recognized as anti-bullying month, we would like to take a moment to focus on the benefits of training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In both adults and children, training martial arts will most certainly develop the following attributes:
– problem solving
– ability to defend self and others
This is extremely important because the impact from being bullied as a child or even demoralized as an adult, can lead to a litany of anxiety related problems or social disorders.
Training martial arts and getting involved in other healthy outlets will absolutely help alleviate stress and could even help get people off of medications that may be toxic or carry negative side effects.
So remember, train regularly and live an active – healthy life style.
A Jiu-Jitsu class a day, will keep bullies away and stress at bay !!!
