Jerry Rinaldi, Silver Fox Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown belt qualified for the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) World Championship to be held in September 2009 in Barcelona, Spain.
ADCC is an invitation-only event which takes place every 2 years to determine the best no-gi grapplers in the world. With only 16 competitors in each of 5 weight classes for men and 2 weight classes for women plus the absolutes , it is the most difficult Submission Fighting event in existence to gain admittance to. Ahead of the tournament, qualifiers are held on every continent to determine the representatives of each nation, making for some of the most difficult and hard-fought competition around.

Congratulations to all who got promoted at the June 9, 2009 class, including Jerry Rinaldi (Brown belt), Jason Baron, Mario DeLuca, Matt Hyman and Edie Mendoza (Blue belts).
